Robert Half International Awards Banquet
New Orleans was the venue; "Celebration of Excellence" was the theme; and the voice of the Taco Bell chihuahua (Carlos Alazraqui) was the M.C., for Robert Half International's 1999 "Reach for the Stars" awards banquet. 400 award winners from the USA and Europe/UK converged at the Fairmont Hotel in New Orleans for two days of celebrations.
The Studio of David Inocencio/Minette Siegel and AV Tecnica partnered to produce and stage the event. Production included the shooting and editing of 11 entertainment videos that "starred" the Robert Half award winners shot on location in 9 U.S. field offices, plus London, Paris, and Brussels. David, Minette, and William Davenport directed and shot in New York, New Jersey, Chicago, Michigan, and California, while British colleague Rob Harris directed the UK and Europe shoots. Upon arrival in New Orleans, Paula Paulin and Karl Dresden shot more footage which was edited on site, before showtime. Staging for the evening awards banquet included wide-screen multi-image; two video screens; theatrical lighting; IMAG video; confetti canons and a brass band - New Orleans renowned "Nightcrawlers", who marched the celebrants out of the ballroom at the end of the evening. All this and JAZZFEST too made New Orleans an ideal location for clients and production team alike. |
