Escondida: A Mine for the 21st Century

BHP-Utah Minerals

This wide-screen 6-projector multi-image show was produced to document and celebrate the opening of the world's largest open pit copper mine in the Atacama desert of Northern Chile. The program was shown as part of a gala party in Santiago, Chile attended by international mining experts and investors. The show was then taken to the northern coastal city of Antafogosta, for another screening. A video version of the program is installed at the mine's office.

Trivia Questions:

2
